The castle of Amras was surrounded by a large garden in the 16th century. The site has changed in the 19th century into a landscape garden, so nothing remained of the former layout. In course of an exhibition about historical gardens in Tyrol an "extract" of the renaissance garden was reconstructed based on the original plan: quasi a quotation of the garden world of the epoch.
