Today the site is managed by the county of Styria. It consists of a late Renaissance palace in the valley, the site of a historical rose garden on a cliff above and a zoo in the surrounding hills of this original ensemble.
It is an outstanding monument of Austria. For this reason the garden design plays with symbols of color and virtue, expressing late Renaissance ideas in a modern landscape design.
The garden site is formed by box hedges, lawn elements and four colorgardens in white, blue, green and yellow
